It
has been experienced that the productivity of the land is declining
year after year. This has resulted because of excessive use of
chemical fertilizers and irrigation water. The natural flora of
beneficial bacteria’s is imbalanced due to soil pollution.
To maintain soil productivity, it is necessary to increase the
flora of beneficial bacteria. This could be done through the adequate
use of biofertilizers. The biofertilizers will also help to reduce
the doses of chemical fertilizers to the extent of 20-25% and
improve the yield potential upto
10-15%.
The valuable foreign exchange for import of chemical fertilizers
could also be saved substantially. Considering all these factors,
the Nirmal Seeds has started production of Biofertilizers and
Biopesticides
under the trade name Bhuparis.
The following Bio-Fertilizers and Bio-Pesticides are produced
in well equipped and scientifically designed laboratory of Biotech
division of Nirmal Seeds.
At present about 100 tons of Bio fertilizers are produced annually.
